Registration and deposit payment of $100.00 must be completed by October 1, 2026, to secure your spot.
After registration, a payment link will be provided so you can conveniently make payments toward your remaining balance. You may also call in to make a payment.

- VPP+ (Vacation Protection Plan Plus): Provides a refund to the original form of payment when canceled in accordance with the plan's terms and conditions. Must be added to your booking within 7 days of deposit date

- Without Travel Protection: Cancellations made 3 or more days before departure are subject to a $75 cancellation fee, plus any applicable hotel penalties.
- Cancellations made 0–2 days before departure are subject to a $100 cancellation fee, plus any applicable hotel penalties.
- Depending on the date of cancellation, additional supplier penalties may apply and could result in some or all payments becoming non-refundable.
- No-Shows: Travelers who fail to arrive for their scheduled trip without prior cancellation will be considered a no-show. No refunds will be provided for no-shows or unused portions of the reservation.

A valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date.
If you are traveling with a non-U.S. passport, you are still welcome to attend. However, it is your responsibility to review any visa or entry requirements based on your country of citizenship.

What began in the car of founder, Marisela Milian, after a particularly overwhelming day—thinking, “If only I had someone to talk to who just gets it,” has since grown into something much larger. Founded in 2025, The Social Work Room Inc.. has engaged over 1,000 social workers through both virtual and in-person gatherings. It has evolved into a space where social workers across the United States are finding community, often sharing, “I found my people.” This growth is a testament to the critical need for intentional spaces that honor not only the field, but, most importantly, the individuals who uphold it and the lived experiences within it.
